From Bury St.Edmunds (A14 eastbound)
Follow the A14 past the first junction to Stowmarket. Take the A1120 to Stowupland/Yoxford. Drive through Stowupland, passing a Shell petrol station, a pub, the village hall, church and primary school. As you pass Stowupland Hall the main road turns sharp right; at this point you need to go straight on into Saxham Street. Continue on out of the speed restriction (30mph), pass the turning to the right (to Middlewood Green and Mickfield) and follow the road round a sharp left-hand bend. You will pass a road on your left, go through the ‘S’ bend and take the next turning on the right (to Mendlesham). This takes you past a chicken farm (on the right). Turn next right (you’re now in Mendlesham Green) and you will find the Chapel on your left-hand side after approximately 0.5 miles.
From Ipswich (A14 westbound)
Follow the A14 until you reach the A1120 Junction (the 3rd after leaving Ipswich). Take the A1120 to Stowupland/Yoxford. Drive through Stowupland, passing a Shell petrol station, a pub, the village hall, church and primary school. When you reach Stowupland Hall the road turns sharp right; at this point you need to go straight on into Saxham Street. Continue on out of the speed restriction (30mph), pass the turning to the right (to Middlewood Green and Mickfield) and follow the road round a sharp left-hand bend. You will pass a road on your left, go through the ‘S’ bend and take the next turning on the right (to Mendlesham. This takes you past a chicken farm (on the right). Turn next right (You’re now in Mendlesham Green.) and you will find the Chapel on your left-hand side after approximately 0.5 miles.
From Norwich (A140 southbound)
Pass through Brockford and continue until you see the ‘Mendlesham Mast’ and Industrial Estate on your left Approximately 2 miles further on you will come to a crossroads which is signposted, Mickfield (to the left) and Mendlesham (to the right). Turn Right. Continue passing through a crossroads. After a long sweeping right, then left-hand bend you will need to take the turning on the right to Mendlesham (at Venn’s Farm). This road then reaches a double ‘S’ Bend. You’re now in Mendlesham Green. Continue on this road and you will find the Chapel on your right.
